These bronze statues created by Mic Carlson, show St Francis of Assisi is various postures of prayer, meditation, teaching and interacting with the natural world he loved so well.  In 2004, they were on display at the Basilica of St Francis in Assisi, Italy and have inspired travelers from all over the world.

Mic Carlson's bio
Sculptor and painter Mic Carlsson presents Instruments of Hope President, Mark Siegrist, with his latest work of art.  This version of St. Francis Preaching to the Birds sculpture is made using a new technique to more accurately represent the burlap texture of St Francis' clothing.
